Morning Rituals to Practice to Manage Stress

I think it is fair to say that the first half of 2020 threw all of us for a loop. As we move into the second half of the year and adjust to a new way of moving and operating in the world, it is important that we do all that we can to protect our peace, reduce stress, and put our best selves forward. When I consistently incorporate the following things into my morning routine, I feel so much more prepared for whatever the day brings my way. I’d encourage you to incorporate them into your morning routine too.


Whether this means journaling, meditating, reading a devotional, reciting affirmations, or just breathing deeply, starting your day by centering yourself can bring clarity and focus for the day ahead.


From stretching and yoga to running and HIIT workouts, get your blood flowing and your body moving. Daily movement is good for both your physical and mental health.


It is important to consistently fuel your body and your mind. Make sure you eat something – and something healthy that will do good for your body. 


Prioritize the 3 or 5 most important things to accomplish for the day and focus on completing them first. This will help to set the tone for the day.
